CETA forms part of the Schools Associated to Unesco Program which was formed in 1953 with the idea of improving co-operation and world peace. As a participating member of this program, CETA encourages the protection of natural and cultural heritage as fundamental value to be adhered in the training and education of tourism professionals.

With this in mind, the University pays special attention to the questions and issues that arise regarding world heritage and the environment.
